We booked John and his car for wedding transportation...however it was a little different as we were trying to arrange it all from the UK. To be honest we were a little worried that come the time we may be left with the bride to be hailing a cab! However as it turned out we didn't need to worry and just the opposite in fact John and the car became a key part of our special day. John arrived early and the car looked immaculate, he was polite, interested in what we were doing so far from home and was very happy to answer questions about the car itself. John took his time and didn't hurry us or the photographer who wanted to take numerous pictures. we couldn't recommend John or indeed the whole Vinty service strongly enough. Chris was so so great, he was so easy to have around, was on time, a safe driver, very relaxed about the day and where we wanted to go/when. Plus, when a last minute issue (due to rain) arose with the car I'd originally booked, he apologetically and immediately offered several other options for us, one of which was another incredible vintage car that I think worked out even better than the original choice. Couldn't have had a better experience, it was really just so much fun! (especially watching all the heads turn as we drove through sunny Sydney in a red Chevy Impala convertible!)

I recently hired John and his Mercedes for my wedding in July and what a fantastic experience it was working with him! He is an absolute gentleman, very easy to communicate with both prior to the day itself and on the day. We had a fair bit of rain on the day to contend with, but it didn’t dampen John’s spirits in the slightest. John’s Mercedes is magnificent. The car was PERFECT for my photoshoot. It was so shiny and clean. The owner communicated with me all the way up to arrival and meet up. He was awesome and easy to work with. The platform is easy to use my only issue was that it put the wrong address in for pickup. It used my home address. Otherwise it was great!

The host was super kind and communicative. and the car is a BEAST! starts up instantly even in the cold because of the electronic fuel mapping, etc. Power steering, power brakes, handles like butter! Not many black matte muscle cars in LA. what a head turner! (car is a little drafty inside so bring a couple extra layers 🙃)
